Blackstone is a community in Brea, California comprised of 3,000 people, and 800 acres that overlook the towns of Brea and Fullerton. Residents enjoy spectacular views of the valley, and canyons as well as excellent education, shopping, dining, and recreation.
Blackstone is a family friendly community being outfitted in 2015 with a junior Olympic pool, spa, wading pool, barbecue facility, outdoor fireplace, and water activity center. There are six parks, as well as many walking trails. A 14-acre city park is being built to include fields for basketball, baseball, soccer, and tee ball.
There are five developments in Blackstone, all of which feature two story homes built by Standard Pacific and Shea Homes. Sorano homes have 1,739 to 2,001 square feet, three to four bedrooms, and up to three baths. Montserrat is comprised of homes with 3,484 to 4,049 square feet of living space with four to six bedrooms and up to five and a half baths. Coral Ridge offers four to seven bedrooms, and up to 4,191 square feet of space. Emerald Heights has up to 3,313 square feet and four to six bedrooms. Avignon has the largest homes with 4,570 to 5,484 square feet, four to six bedrooms, and up to six and a half baths.
Residents have access to the top rated facilities of the Brea Olinda Unified School District. Students in this community attend Olinda Elementary School, Brea Junior High School, and Brea Olinda High School. There are many canyons and parks nearby as well as the Birch Hills Golf Course. The upscale Brea Mall offers department stores like Nordstrom’s, JCPenney, and Sears. It also has a full service spa, many restaurants, and over 175 specialty boutiques.
Brea is a city in Orange County that is known for its extensive art program which began in 1975. Today you’ll find over 140 artworks throughout the city.
